RE: Introduce yourself
Hello!

I've followed PWX for a good few years, from here in Australia. The concept was always captivating, and I find designing a wrestling game - and its mechanics to simulate the genre that is wrestling - a brilliant way to dissect and explore wrestling itself. All the narrative elements of the wrestling match can be appreciated when they have to be acknowledged individually and programmed into a game, which I find neat!

PWX has always had such a positivity and sincerity in its team and its mission, and that's truly the most valuable resource I think this project has. Everything else is drawn to fruition through that compelling force. They haven't lost that in ten long years, so I have faith that it'll only serve them well in the future as PWX grows exponentially.

It's surreal to have this seed that is the Uprising beta, and so clearly see the 'rails' being laid down for the rest of the journey. We can see where animations can be slotted in, graphics can be interchanged; the skeleton is there, and for as little as I know about programming, it feels as if that's the hardest part. Congratulations to everybody involved, and thank you for following the dream that we all get to participate in!

Hey all!

Names Lee and I came across the development for this game a few months back and have been keeping a close eye on it. Love the progress it's been making so far. I'm 32 from the good ol USA. I host a wrestling radio show (not here to plug it but if you wanna know just pm me). I look forward to providing feedback for the development of this game as I truly believe & support it 100%. It's off to a great start

RE: Introduce yourself
Hey everyone, I'm Sonny........... and I'm a recovering "fun" pro wrestling game player. I still have the occasional relapse, especially with No Mercy, Fire Pro Returns, WCW Revenge, Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, and with some the early SmackDown PS2 games. I try to withstand them, usually because I know the sadness that follows. The sadness at the moment of realization that these games are the last of their kind. Since coming here though, joining this community, and supporting Pro Wrestling X, I believe I've found hope, hope that one day I will be cured from this awful burden. One day I may be able smile again while playing a current generation wrestling game.

Yes, I'm being ridicuRous, but in all seriousness, I really am looking forward to seeing this game move forward and hopefully develop into something great. I can't wait to see some updates!

RE: Introduce yourself
Hi everybody.
Some of you may remember me from the old days, but to the new guys, I've been following the project since almost the beginning, like some of the other oldsters here~~

I'll be working alongside Dave to help bring a set of official Championship Belts to the PWX series (and yes, they'll most likely be moddable once finished).
