RE: Pro Wrestling X Editor - Import/Export Models, Textures, & Sounds!
I don't see a problem is doing it and releasing it. The game is Alpha and the Editing/Mods will be as well. If you don't want to use something that causes more issues, then don't. If someone releases a mod that adds issues, I'm sure no one in this community will hide that fact, and let the downloader make an informed decision.

Also, the only side effect I can think of for Night Wolf doing this is simply the lower resolution textures of the WWE 13 wrestlers. No new animation or other bugs will arise.

The main thing is doing this UV stuff will allow us to create so many WWE wrestlers very very easily. Sharing that, uploading screenshots and videos, is free promotion for Dave and the gang. Showing that there is a dedicated modding community that will do things to this game that Dave legally cannot. More visibility, more "oh, that looks cool and now I see the potential", more supporters....you catch my drift.

I do not expect any less from wrestling fans and that is why i am on more wrestling mod fourms than anything else. To make something as good as it can be requires critisism and honest feedback. I have for the better half of 2 years have said to myself that if there was ever a wrestling game released for PC that did not suck as much as Raw did for the PC that i was going to do whatever i could to make that game a desire for all wrestling fans. Please understand that i am not saying that it is going to get done any time soon. I am a father with two kids and i have too provide for them first and formost but after that it is all Pro Wrestling X all the way. Like right now i have alot of free time available and i am dilligently and focused working on getting these to work with PWX models. I am seeing that i will be spending alot of time re assigning values to x,y,u,v to get the WWE 13 complete texture to mesh with the allmesh model without having to adjust anything. If anyone thinks that this is a pointless project go ahead and say so but it will not deture me from completing my goal. To all you who are in support of this thank you. So this shows that i am a dedicated fan of this game? All i was thinking was this is another great opertunity for me to learn something new.

i'm just saying that once it becomes so popular and everyone will have mods, and there's a bug that the crew can't replicate they will waste their time looking for a bug that is caused by a model imported into the game in a mod.

On a side note to Dave, you should ask in a bug report whether the game was modded or if it's your original release. to avoid unnecessary time being wasted on bugs which don't originate in the basic game.

Played No Mercy but have not modded. Just got into modding about 2 years ago when THQ run around got tiresome and started with TWC4 and got interested in modding alot and almost started to try my hand at coding then they told me about PWX and i have not modded @ mpiremall since then.

Here a few photos of my progress and note that the face is not on the back of the model but the front. Now all i have to do is figure out how too move the face too the proper posistion.

You need to select a group and get into the UV mapper. With that you can adjust every vertice to match with the texture.

Certainly.

1. Select one of the model groups (double click)
2. Go to Texture->Old UV Mapper (i like it better than the new one)
3. You will see the vertices are already adjusted
[Image: Unbenannt2.png]
4. Now load your material in and you will see the texture won't match with the vertices
[Image: Unbenannt3.png]
5. Choose "Select Vertices" and select all of them [border selection (marked = red)]
6. Choose "Scale" and "Move" and transform them to fit with the texture
[Image: Unbenannt4.png]
7. Now select every vertice and move them to a good position
[Image: Unbenannt5.png]
6. Click "Assign Material" and close the window
[Image: Unbenannt1.png]

Note: Sometime it's better to do this process with just some faces instead of the whole group (e.g. Back and Torso textures are build in a different way in WWE '13 and PWX)

Hope I could help you!

RE: Pro Wrestling X Editor - Import/Export Models, Textures, & Sounds!
Thank you Prinsto because of what you have shared with me i have gotten this far with WWE 13 Textures and making them compatiable with PWX models. Notice how you have too change the position of the eyes, tounge.teeth and so on. Other than that just follow what Prinsto has told me. It will take a while but it will work as far as i have gotten.

Is there a way to take the torso template from PWX and mod it too fit the WWE 13 textures?
