Question  Anyone got the game working on a Mac yet?
Hi!

I've been crazy busy the last few weeks with work so I had no time yet to try to get Uprising working on my MacBook Pro. Since there are quite a few ways to use windows applications on a Mac these days I wonder if anyone already has found a working solution?

I think he means if running a wine-based solution like CrossOver or DarWine will allow it to run on a Mac. Got a MacBook Pro myself but haven't tried it personally.
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Intel Core i7, 6GB RAM
GeForce GT330M @ 1080p

I can handle this one, being a certified Mac nerd. I have had great success running it in emulation, using VMWare Fusion. I have an old version of the program, and it's not 100% perfect, but if you go full-screen, it's tough to tell you're running it in emulation.

There's a few emulation solutions out there:

Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac

VMWare Fusion 5

VirtualBox - An open source alternative that I have just found out about.

CrossOver - I tried a version of this years ago, and it was just OK. It might have really improved.

Here's a comparison of the two big players
